REVEREND HANK O. TUELL IV

Rector

Father Hank grew up an Army brat and has lived in 9 different states from New York to California and many states in between. He graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006 with a BS in Psychology and earned an M.Div from General Theological Seminary in 2017. Before coming to Saint John's, Fr. Hank was the Associate Priest for Community Life at Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church in Chandler, AZ. His ministry at St. Matthew's focused on newcomer and welcome ministry, outreach, Youth, Children, and Family Ministries, and Community Life.

Before Saint Matthew's Fr. Hank worked at Trinity Wall Street Church as a sacristan and Deacon, also worked as a Chaplain Assistant at Canterbury Downtown, the Episcopal Diocese of New York's College Ministry Program, and completed his seminary field education placement in the Pastoral Care Department at Trinity Wall Street.

Prior to attending seminary, Fr. Hank worked in the Information Technology Field as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Systems Engineer for several technology companies. He also served as a counselor at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch in Billings, Montana, a residential youth treatment center where he ran therapeutic counseling groups and developed spiritual and educational programming.

ST. JOHN’S VESTRY MEETING SCHEDULE

First Saturday of each month, March - June, September - December.

No formal meeting in July and August unless required. Meetings may be held in person or via conference call.

Minutes of Vestry meetings are available to members of St. John's upon request.
